Embracing the Ever-Present Comforter

[00:00:03] As we pause this evening, let's reflect on the profound presence of the Holy Spirit, the comforter Jesus promised to abide with us forever. [00:00:12] Known to the faithful of old as the God Almighty, the Spirit now dwells within us, guiding, strengthening and renewing our inner lives. Though we cannot control his work, we can humbly seek his help and remain watchful not to grieve him away. [00:00:28] Without his power, our efforts falter with it. Extraordinary transformation is possible. [00:00:35] Alongside this, we acknowledge the countless mercies God showers upon ushealth, home, family, faith and the sustaining grace that covers our shortcomings. [00:00:44] Yet we also honestly confess our sins and shortcomings, recognizing the weight of our failings before a holy God. [00:00:51] Still we find hope and refuge in Jesus, whose sacrifice covers our sins and draws us near to the Father's forgiving arms. [00:00:59] Today let us surrender our pride, embrace the Spirit's gentle guidance and cling to the cross, allowing his grace to soften hardened hearts and light our way. In this divine mercy, we find strength to live renewed and hopeful. Each day.
