Finding Rest and Renewal in God’s Covenant

[00:00:03] As evening falls, we reflect on the image of the dove returning to the ark, seeking rest after a day of weariness. [00:00:11] Just like the dove, our souls long for true rest not in possessions or achievements but in God alone. When we come to him, we find a peace that satisfies our deepest needs. Today let us bring our gratitude for God's tender mercies, new every morning and fresh every evening. Alongside this we commit ourselves anew to his covenant, a promise sealed by his grace and love. [00:00:37] We ask for his guidance through life's challenges, for strength to endure trials without losing heart, and for his mercy to follow us all our days. [00:00:46] May we hold our hearts in his hands, marked by reverence and trust, confident that he has overcome the world and secured our victory. As night comes, let us rest in the assurance of his presence, finding renewal in his unfailing love, so that when we wake we are still held in his career.
