Praising God for What We Have Heard and Seen

[00:00:03] As evening falls, let us join the shepherds in glorifying and praising God, not only for what we have heard, the good news of a Savior born unto us, but also for what we have seen and experienced through faith. Hearing about Jesus is just the beginning. It is living faith that creates the music of praise in our hearts. When we truly see Jesus with the eyes of faith, our praise becomes a powerful song of thanksgiving for the peace, joy and life he brings. At the same time, let us humble ourselves before the great God who dwells within us when we repent and open our hearts to Him. By breaking pride and self righteousness and embracing true lowliness, we prepare a dwelling fit for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In his presence, evil cannot abide and our hearts find fullness of joy, peace and rest. [00:00:55] Let this truth fill us with awe and gratitude. Knowing that nothing is too great for God to do and nothing too good for him to give, may we be inspired to live in continual praise celebrating the Savior who is more beautiful and satisfying than words can express.
